Twin Cards!

When visiting my dearest friend Jackie a couple of weeks ago, she gave me the new Kaisercraft paper pad, English Rose. These are my fav colours, greens and pinks! She knows me so well ;)
We decided to make a card with the inspiration from Bev's card in the Magnolia Mag. (don't ask me which one 'cause it's at Jackie's house!). We also decided to use some CC stamps we both had purchased yonks ago and haven't used much.
This is how my card turned out.

No idea why her hair came out that way in the photo??
We've both used the same paper pack, flowers, leaves, butterfly die and circle dies.
I just love the way they both turned out.
Pop over here to see Jackie's gorgeous card. They're the same but different! hee hee.
Thanks for letting my 'borrow' your crafting goodies lovely lady. Had a blast!!
For those of you who don't visit here often, I don't like cutting out my images but whenever I'm with Jackie there is ALWAYS something she makes me cut out!
Now she didn't make me cut out on the actual card but I had to cut a mask out to stamp over the image. Aaaarrrrgghhhh Jackie, you did it again!! lol.

It's a boy!!

We got to welcome a new addition to the family recently. No, I didn't make the new addition, but I did make the card! lol.
As you can guess, the baby is a boy!
I got to ink up this little cutie called 'Ashton' from the CC Desings,Baby Buds collection available at Tickled Pink Stamps.
Kellie challenged us to use buttons so who was I to argue?? I luuuurve buttons on my cards. The problem is, I NEED more!
I used spellbinder dies to cut around Ashton and also the sentiment. I coloured him with my copics (MY babies hehe)
There is so much exciting news at Tickled Pink Stamps so jump on over and check it all out. You don't want to miss a thing. Have you seen the sneak peeks?? Oooooh.

Grab her now and save yourself some pennies :) New supplies arriving all the time. Go check it out and put your name on the newsletter so you don't miss out on all the lastest news and the arrival of new stamps.
Hope you're all having a great day!

Digi 'Fidget Goblin Spider'

Evening everyone! Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
I've had this CC Designs image inked up for ages. This is 'Fidget Goblin Spider' and I got her as a digi image. Love digi's (when printer is working!)
I needed to sit and mindlessly create something today and this is what I came up with.

I followed the sketch over at Sketch Saturday. Love it! So easy to work with. Added: Oops, looks like I missed this one. Still love the sketch though ;) So of course I am entering into their challenge as well as the SophistiCat Challenge. They are calling out for Mint Green, Lilac, 1 other colour and flowers.
Of course I added my own touches of buttons and some glitter on the flowers.
Thanks for stopping by and all your lovely comments. They make my day!

Finally!!

Between an unwell DD, phone calls and general everyday goings on, I FINALLY finished colouring my image. This is Cherry Emma from the CC Design collection.

This card came together in a matter of minutes after I got the chance to sit and create!! I just love it when that happens! Especially when I thought it was going to be one of those cards that just wasn't getting completed! lol.
I hope you like it!
I was going to enter it into some challenges but I'm just too tired now. So just enjoy ;)
Well I changed my mind and put it into the Pink Elephant which are asking for Spring.

My Dark Side

I just love my new set of digi's from CC designs. This one is called 'Gossamer'.

I loved colouring this one in with my copics. (and Jackie's copics too. Thanks Jack!) Jackie also showed me a different technique for shading in her dress. It took me forever but I think it was well worth it.
I used SU Perfect Plum and Basic Grey papers along with DCWV printed paper. SU basic grey ribbon, Kaisercraft flowers and the rest is from my own stash.
Yay, the weekend is here but wow what a scorcher it's going to be. 37 degrees with thunderstorms. Still, we are not going to be as hot as Adelaide and I do have airconditioning. Great day to stay in and stamp I say!!
