I know, I know
It’s been a little while once again but I did promise you another card.
Just returned home from a little holiday with my BFF Jackie and her beautiful family. We had such a relaxing and fun time as always and I find myself energised and ready to go again. I can’t believe this was my first trip there that we DIDN’T go in the ‘craft room’!! Can you believe it? No crafting what so ever this trip but we did visit the local craft store
I made this one for one of my daughter’s friends. Her favourite colour is blue which I didn’t know at the time so it worked in well.
This is another adorable image created by Krista at Saturated Canary. This one is “Sabrina”.
(it looks lopsided but it was the way I took the pic. Promise ;) )
Well I better start my clean up and my BIG pile of washing after being away.
We’re also trying to rescue 2 male kittens this weekend and we’re off to meet them to see if they’d like to live with us. They are just too cute, Toby and Ollie. Will post pics if we’re successful.
Thanks for stopping by my little neglected blog.

So sorry to leave you all stranded here on my lonely blog. My family and I have had such a whirlwind last few months to put it mildly and I’m trying to connect back with the things that I love and that bring me joy. Of course colouring is one of these things BUT when I sat down to colour I hit a blank! What colours were my ‘go to’ colours, how do I blend, HOW DO I COLOUR??? Was it possible that I had forgotten how to colour with my precious Copics?? NOOOOO!! LOL.
Let me tell you it was NOT like riding a bike. I couldn’t get back on and remember how to do it. I really did struggle.
I made 2 cards for special birthdays and I wanted to share them with you regardless of the struggles I had trying to remember my love of copics
This one I made for a special little girl who was turning 4. Such a fun and bright card to make. I also tried the new (new to me!) watercolour background. I was even stumped on how to piece a card together. I went for my favourites to save me of buttons, bling, flowers and lace and made what I thought to be a fresh and fun card.
The image is ‘Ellie’s Birthday” from Saturated Canary.
I’m going to enter this into the following challenges just for fun!!
Creative Inspirations – Spring colours
Cute Card Thursday – Anything Goes
Stampin’ for the weekend – Child’s play
I think I’ll save my other card so I have something to show you again in a few days time!
Thanks for stopping by.
