Pollycraft Challenge #81 - "Diamond and Pearls" -Marit

It cannot possibly be Monday again already?? I want my weekend back! Wow, this year is just flying by. To help keep you entertained why not try our Pollycraft Challenge this week? This week our recovering Marit set us the challenge of "Diamonds and Pearls".

Marit is meant to be having bed rest but fought on to make a card for the challenge she set. Stop by to give her a cheer ♥

Here is my card using one of the new images Cherry Kisses - Tea in the 20's.

I loved colouring her up and then adding some bling. A fun and easy challenge if you like your bling!!

Pollycraft Challenge #80-"Special Birthdays" by Emma

It can't possibly be Monday again? Where on earth did my weekend go??

Well it is Monday and that means it's time for another Pollycraft Challenge.This week Emma has asked us to create a "Special Birthday" card. Meaning, 21st, 13th, 50th etc.

I've created a 1st birthday card and just realised as I'm posting this that I didn't put the number 1 on it! Ooops!!

I got this idea from Maria Bell here.

I've used the gorgeous Kiki - "Kiki Cakes"  from the Pollycraft Store.

This is the card opened out completely. I've created a gift holder tag to go in the pocket. 

This is it lifted out so you can see it easier.

 

The papers I've used are from Kaisercraft-English Rose and the plain papers were from my stash.

I'm sending this to my dear friend whose little girl turns the big 1 in the next couple of weeks.

Isn't he just adorable??

I've added a little crystal effects to his tears. Aaaww.

I have some new goodies on my card. I purchased from Bizzy Bec's the Spellbinder circle/scallops nestabilities set and I just love it. Does this mean you'll be seeing a lot of circles? YES!! lol.

The magnolia doohickey fence die is from my gorgeous friend Jackie when I was visiting her house. Love it so much I've ordered one for myself from Kellie at Tickled Pink Stamps Store.

And what's a card from me without at least a button or some ribbon???

Just Because...

I made a card last night just for fun and to join in some challenges.

I couldn't resist buying a couple of Odd Girl Images and couldn't wait to colour them up.

So here's my card.

It's come up a bit blue but it's actually purple. I just can't seem to get the colour right? I added some glitter to her wings and a little on her belt.

Some Odd Girl Challenge this week was 'Scallops' and I followed the sketch from Create 4 Fun.
