Magnolia Down Under Challenge #49

Just love this little Tilda from the Fairy Tale Collection. I'm pretty sure she's Midsummer Tilda.
The challenge this week over at Magnolia Down Under Challenge Blog is "Polka dots". It can be on your papers, images etc.
I've got polka dots on my paper.

I've used copics to colour Tilda along with some added touches of diamonds of course. The pink flowers, doilie and gorgeous crown charm are all from Tickled Pink Stamps Store.
The beautiful dp's are Webster's Pages from Delicious Papercrafting. I'm going to need more Kristy, they are just gorgeous!!
The white roses, heart pins, bling pins and Tilda are all from Bizzy Bec's Store.
The rest is from my stash.
Don't forget to jump on over to MDUC to check out the AMAZING creations the DT girls have for you to get inspiration from.

My Lilith 'GIrlie Girl' card.

Time for another Lilith card. I just can't get enough of this gorgeous girl!
Kellie set the Pink Ladies a challenge this week of a 'Girlie Girl' card.
What better way to show you Lilith's gentle, girlie side.
I've used the gorgeous Webster's Pages from Delicious Papercrafting. What a cheat way to craft. When you use these papers you don't need much else! They speak for themselves.
I made a mesh flower and added a button to the centre. The mesh and Lil Lolita image are from the Tickled Pink Stamps Store.
The pink roses and rose buds are from Bizzy Bec's online store.

Don't forget about the Tickled Pink Stamp Challenge Blog. Our 2nd Challenge is set for next Tuesday 8th, June. Go visit the blog for all the details.

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend. Still wet and miserable here but that's good crafting weather right??

Hanglar and Stanglar birthday card.

This card was so therapeutic! I loved sitting down the other night and mindlessly (yeah I know, my mind is never with me!) colouring the gorgeous little Hanglar & Stanglar image. Isn't she a cutie?!

This card is being sent out to a special little girl turning 3 next week!
I used the fabulous sketch over at Friday Sketchers. Loved it.

The papers are Bo Bunny and I got these at the Picture to Page craft show along with the ribbon.

Short and sweet tonight! 'Thank goodness" I hear you say with a sigh of relief. You cheeky buggars!! lol.

Hope you're all having a great day and thanks for leaving some love!

A boy's birthday card.

This is a card I made for our Nephew who turned 2 last week.
Don't stress, yes, I have sent it to him already ;)

This is an image from 'Colouring book pages'. A free site to download colouring book images. Not sure of the link so will endevour to look it up for you.
I coloured this sweetie up with my copics. The designer paper is We R Memory Keepers, MVP range available from Delicious Papercrafting. These are fantastic papers for male cards. You'll be seeing more of these papers. The mesh is from Tickled Pink Stamps and the rest is from my stash.
I'm entering this into the Sketch and Stash Challenge. I used their sketch but turned it on it's side. My never used part is the image and my neglected piece is my SU Blue Bayou ribbon.

Ribbon Challenge

Yaaay, I've finally gotten to my craft desk today and not a moment too soon.
Kellie, store owner of Tickled Pink Stamps, set the DT girls a challenge this week to use ribbon on a Lil Lolita card. (Phew, made it just in time! lol)
Well I accepted that challenge and made a card using Lil Lolita, 'Evie'.
Hasn't she got the most adorable face?
I also accepted the challenge to make a tutorial on ribbon pleating for Tickled Pink Stamps. Go here to check it out.

I coloured her with my much loved copics and used the sketch from Sketch and Stash Challenge this week. Sideways though of course ;) I have used 2 new items on my card. The first being the charm and the 2nd is my 'Evie' stamp. *Gasp* I know, I know. I simply ran out of time to colour this cutie up, but now I have, so stop picking on me ok!!
The designer paper is from Sei, 'Jocelyn' available from Delicious Papercrafting, the flowers are from Bizzy Bec's and the friend's charm and 'Evie' are from Tickled Pink Stamps.
Kellie will be displaying all the gorgeous cards the Tickled Pink Ladies have created Sunday 30th May, on the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog.
I got another card finished tonight as well (don't faint ) but I'll save it for tomorrow!!

Please Help!

Can you help brighten someone's day??
One of the lovely DT ladies, Lisa, over at Pollycraft has put out a call of compassion. Her sister Jayme who is only in her early 50's has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. They have only just discovered that it has spread and her time is running out. Not only that but her dog Molly passed away a couple of weeks ago.
Lisa is asking her cardmaking friends, if they could send her sister a card to help keep her spirits up. She doesn't want any 'get well' cards of course, so maybe something bright, uplifting or even funny cards. Lisa has also been given some candy by the people she designs for and from online stores/blogs and you can enter your card for a chance to win some.
Also Paula from Pollycraft has a free digi image of a frog on her blog that you can download. Jayme is a frog lover and so Paula being the talented lady she is, drew a frog so she could make a card for her.
I am yet to make Jayme a card as I have only just read Lisa's post. Please visit Lisa's blog for all the information and details of where to send your card if you decide to make one.
I hope you can help to keep a smile on Jayme's face and help her through her difficult time.
Keep creating, it's worthwhile, Kylie xo

Pollycraft Challenge #45

Welcome to another challenge from Pollycraft.
This week is challenge #45 and you need to have Butterflies and Buttons on your card.
It was a great opportunity for me to use my new Basic Grey Buttons.

I also used my new butterfly charm from Tickled Pink Stamps and some velvet ric rac and lace I got from Picture to Page.
I used the new image from Pollycraft called Sydney - 'Flutterby'.
I just love all the new releases from both collections. So hard to pick a favourite.
Of course I coloured her using my copics and I added a little glossy accents to the flower in her hair and her heart necklace.
I hope you can join us this week at Pollycraft Challenges.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #47

Well I like this weeks MDUC much better ;)
This week we are looking for 'Shaped Cards'.

So for this card I dusted off the Cricut machine. And guess what? It still works. lol.
I cut out 2 crown shapes to form a princess crown card. Just what a princess needs.
I covered it in some Basic Grey dp 'porcelain' and sponged all the edges with 'pretty in pink' ink.
I edged it all with Diamond Stickles I got from Delicious Papercrafting and added some bling and lace from my stash.
Tickled Pink Stamps have some of the Magnolia Fairy Tale Collection and also some beautiful new embellies and stamps.

So I hope you can join us this week over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges. Can't wait to see what you create.
Be sure to get some inspiration from the DT girls. Their creations are awesome!!

This one is Ivy and Kellie has 10% off in the store here.

These are some papers I purchased at Picture to Page along with the lovely cream ribbon. I inked around the edges with chocolate and coloured Ivy with my copics. The cream mesh and Ivy stamps can be purchased at Tickled Pink Stamps. The rest is from my stash.
These are the challenges I'm entering Ivy into:
