Pollycraft Friday Freebie and a sale!

It's Friday so it must be Friday Freebie day over at Pollycraft!

A new challenge blog!

There's a new challenge blog in town and it's the Tickled Pink Stamp Challenge.

We've decided to make it a monthly challenge blog so there is noooo stress to get your creations in on time. It will be the 2nd Saturday of every month and it kicks off Saturday 8th May.

Loads of exciting things happening and prizes to be won so drop in on the challenge blog here to check it all out!!

Here is a card I made for Tickled Pink Stamps. This is Nadine from the Kraftin' Kimmie range available at the store now.

I've used SU Sahara Sand and Pink Pirouette cs and Grace Taylor dp's.

I made a standard size A2 card with a little pocket inside to hold a message.

This is the little message tag on the inside. The little jug is an accessory stamp you get as a bonus with Nadine.

It's all held together with chocolate ribbon. I've added some heart lace that I had left over from a friend's wedding album I did and added some buttons and kaisercraft flowers.

Pollycraft Challenge #41

One of our Pollycraft DT ladies, Emma, sadly lost her Dad last year. Emma has decided to help others and in doing so is helping raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The lovely Paula at Pollycraft generously offered to design this digital image "Ronnie Relaxing" which is based on Emma's Dad. All proceeds go directly to the charity and can be purchased through Pollycraft here or on Emma's Blog.

It's Monday and so that means it's challenge time over at Pollycraft.

This week it's my turn to join in and the challenge is to make your own flowers.

I've used the gorgeous Pollycraft digi image 'Fearn'. I've coloured her with copics.

Silly me forgot to add diamonds to her wings before taking a photo so lets just pretend she's all glittered up!! lol.

I used the large and medium 5 petal retro flower punches. I scrunched them all up, flattened them out, put a brad in the middle and then scrunched again until I liked the finish.

So much fun to make as they don't have to be perfect but wow, did my finger tips hurt afterwards! I'll just have to make more and toughen up my finger tips!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Charms

I used this gorgeous little tulip charm I found in my stash.

I coloured this gorgeous little Tilda with my copics and in good company of Jackie. Jackie and her 2 adorable children have now left and gone back home to Canberra :( Yes, many tears were shed but we had a wonderful time. A little crafting, a little colouring, a little drinking, a little laughing and a whole lot of chatting!

Tilda Curtsy Princess

I just love this new image from Magnolia. This is 'Curtsy Princess' and she'll be making an appearance at Tickled Pink Stamps soon.

I followed the sketch from 'Friday Sketchers'. I loved it.

I coloured her with my copics and then added diamonds to her shoes, gloves, skirt and of course her tiara.

Kellie from Tickled Pink Stamps challenged us to make an easel card this week. So here is mine. I've used the gorgeous Magnolia papers which are also available from Tickled Pink Stamps.
I also distressed the edges of cardstock.

The lace and large flowers are from my stash and the ribbon, pearl ribbon slide, rose and gorgeous pink heart pin are all from Bizzy Bec's online store.

Well I'm off to get ready for the day. I have my beautiful friend Jackie and her 2 youngest children here today. We're to make some plans but don't worry, we've set aside time for some colouring with our copics today along with a couple of drinks for tonight ;) Lovin' it!

Pollycraft Challenge #39

It's Monday, so that means another challenge is set for you over at Pollycraft.

This weeks challenge is a colour challenge. You must use the colours Pink, Brown and then add either Yellow or Green.

I've coloured her with my copics and then added some glossy accents to the flowers.

Tilda with Lamb

Mad 4 Markers are having their 1st challenge on their blog and I just had to enter. Who wouldn't want to win the fabulous prize that Sammi has on offer? What is it? Jump on over and check it out!!

M4M challenge is a colour challenge. You had to use Eoo, R20 & BG15.

I just had to colour up this gorgeous Tilda with Lamb image that is available from Tickled Pink Stamps. Kellie has a huge sale on too. Bargains everywhere!!

These are the copic colours I used. Yep, I'm too lazy to write them all down so I just took a pic. :) hee hee.

I added some diamond glitter to Tilda's dress and hair ties and then some stickles to the handmade flower that I made using the left over scraps of paper.

I also copied the great sketch they have over at Friday Sketchers. I'll be doing this one again. I loved it.

I'm not sure when I'll be posting again, maybe some scheduled ones. My man is coming home tomorrow night after being deployed for 4 months!! Whoo hoo!

So he's missed Christmas, New Year, DS 16th Birthday, his own birthday, Easter and his DD's 1st dance class lesson. He's also to meet some new additons to the family. His youngest brother and his wife had their 1st child just after he left and his older brother and his wife are awaiting the arrival of their 2nd child. SIL is overdue, so any day now!!

Sparkle Thistleweed

Meet 'Sparkle Thistleweed'.

I just love their big eyes and dainty little mouths!!

I don't normaly use these tones together, but hey, I wanted to try something different! (maybe it's all that chocolate that's taken over my mind?? do-do-do-do....)

Kellie from Tickled Pink Stamps wanted me to incorporate ribbon for my challenge. So I tried something new here as well!! I'm actually very happy how this turned out. It looks much better on the card than it did in my head. (again, it must be the chocolate!) lol.

This is my DT card for the Pollycraft "Anything Goes" challenge.

This is the "Love Ya!" image from the Cherry Kisses Frames collection.

I had to colour the flower to match the papers but it has come out a bit red in the photo. The gorgeous pins and flowers ar from Bec's online store and the lace is from my stash.

My 1st 'Tickled Pink Stamps" DT card!!

My 1st "Tickled Pink Stamps" DT card!

What was that? Yes, you read it right. I said "Tickled Pink Stamps"!!

We told you there was going to be some changes to the Magnolia Down Under Store and this is the most important one! Kellie (store owner) has changed the name to "Tickled Pink Stamps". Not because she didn't like the old name, Kellie is adding MORE stamps from different companies to her store! What does this mean? More variety for YOU to choose from. Whoo hoo!

This is just one of the stamps available. Isn't she wacky gorgeous?? This is Drucilla and she's from the Kraftin' Kimmie range of stamps available from the new look store!! Get her now while she is 15% off! Got to love a sale ;)

This little sweetie arrived in my DT kit on Thursday along with some other goodies to play with. How spoilt am I?! lol. Drucilla comes with an extra stamp as well. The little heart charm underneath the flowers. I've covered it in glossy accents to create my own charm! Kellie's challenge was to use PINK on my card. Oh now come on Kellie, using pink for me is no challenge. Along with green, pink is my favourite colour!! lol. (maybe sh'e leading me in with a false sense of security???)

I've coloured Drucilla with my copics and sponged the heart doilie and card edges with cocoa ink.

Ooh, and I just have to tell you that the DT girls are called 'The Pink Ladies". Love it! No we don't have the pink bomber jackets to match like in the movie 'Grease' but Kellie's working on it, aren't ya Kel? lol.
